Anyone with an undiagnosed genetic condition can apply to the Undiagnosed Diseases Network. Patients from anywhere in the United States can ask to be seen at the Pacific Northwest clinical site, and most accepted patients from Washington, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, and Oregon will be seen here. The Undiagnosed Disease Network can also accept international patients who pay for their own travel to the United States.
To start your application your doctor needs to send a referral letter. You will also need to help us find all of your medical records so we can review them.
Someone at the Undiagnosed Diseases Network will contact you and your doctor within three months after you date you apply to let you know if you have been accepted. Unfortunately, many patients apply and cannot be accepted.
